You know menswear always gets me, so this double-breasted longline glen plaid blazer was a no-brainer addition to my fall work wardrobe (argh I love it so much). The tie-neck shirtdress was the perfect retro counterpart, and was doubly effective in transitioning the look from desk to drinks for me. While the shirtdress may actually be long enough for some of you lucky petite ladies to sport at the office, it was way too short for me. Therefore, I threw on my favorite tapered black ankle-length dress pants and heels during business hours, and then had these over-the-knee boots waiting in the wings for my day-to-night switcheroo.
